Growing up in the 70’s when most families only had one TV in the living room I hated watching the evening news with my parents---little did I know I would end up making a career out of delivering news which would eventually lead me to a morning co-hosting gig!

After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University and making a fake news tape I landed a job reporting and anchoring news for WOBM FM in Ocean County in 1995. For the next several years I criss-crossed the state doing news for WRNJ in Hackettstown, WPST in Princeton and sister stations WMGQ and WCTC in Somerset while also working as a traffic reporter for Shadow Broadcasting in Rutherford. My news backround ended up being a stepping stone for my first co-hosting stint at WJRZ in Manahawkin in 2003. From there I ended up at The Breeze in October, 2005 as the morning show co-host.

There’s nothing better than working at the Jersey Shore and being able to relate to or share experiences about the places and people where I grew up, from going through the Toms River School system, working as a beach badge checker and an Italian Ice truck driver, to boating in the Barnegat Bay, running on the boardwalk, being a volunteer Big Sister, sitting in traffic and paying high property taxes!
